My 18 yr old and I stopped by for lunch for the first time today. The poor cashier was trying her best to keep up with the lunch crowd, while answering the phone and trying to get the cook to understand the order. She was very frustrated. The food came and my son got catfish instead of the Southern Fried Chicken he had ordered. The cashier/waitress politely picked it up, and then got into a heated discussion with the cook. The cook did a terrible job! Before I left I went back and thanked her for her service, I also let her know that the pieces of bread they served me were old and stale, so she wouldnt serve the bread to anyone else. She did her best, but they certainly need a better cook!
A decent Cajun restaurant in Midwest City. I ordered catfish, two sides, and a shrimp po’ boy. The catfish and two sides were good, but the side servings were a bit small. The shrimp po’ boy was great, and bread pudding was added for free. The service, ambiance, and prices are good overall. I recommend this place for Cajun cuisine, but it’s comparable to other restaurants nearby.
