Had lunch on Sunday around 12pm. I was expecting a sit down and menu order type situation, but it was a walk up counter with friendly service. There is a dining area so we decided to dine in. We tried the fried chicken, shrimp, and catfish. The fried chicken was crispy and delicious. The catfish was flaky and meaty. Not a huge fan of the jumbo shrimp though. The Sides we tried were macaroni salad, okra, fries, mashed potatoes, gumbo, and a crab cake. Everything was hot, fresh, and delightful. We will definitely be back soon!
Catfish is excellent. Tartar sauce is not your usual sauce, Its Cajun and a little spicy, I really like it though. The fried chicken is a little salty, but good otherwise. Hush puppies, fried okra, and potato salad were all good. However the green beans could be improved. The interior is new, clean and pleasant. The employees are friendly and fast. We’re glad Tuttle has a good catfish place again!
