We live about 30 minutes from Cheddars and decided to make the long drive to check them out. It was well worth the drive. Service was terrific and the food was superb. We ordered the cheese fries as an appetizer and they were good but nothing new. My husband had the New Orleans pasta and he loved the flavor. He did wish that the smoked sausage had been andouille. Since we had the cheese fries he couldn’t finish his pasta and that says a lot. I had the Key West chicken and shrimp and it was AWESOME! The glaze/sauce was just sweet enough with just a touch of heat. The chicken was juicy and the shrimp were perfect. However I was not impressed with the two sides I chose. I had the off the cob corn and the broccoli cheese casserole. The corn was unremarkable and the broccoli cheese casserole had a raw oats topping which was strange and casserole wasn’t a casserole. It was just broccoli with cheese and rice that had been stirred together. It didn’t taste like it had been cooked for any length of time together. The flavor was just okay but would have been great had it been baked for 30 -45 minutes and allowed the cheese to thicken and crust just a bit. Next time I’ll pick 2 different sides. Oh yeah, I also ordered the 3 honey butter crossiants and had them with my meal. I gave my husband one and I had the other two. They were perfect, light, buttery and just sweet enough to leave you wanting half a dozen more. Needless to say we had no room for dessert. We’re looking forward to going back again soon.

I normally love Cheddar’s. This is my first time eating at this location. It was terrible!! By far the dirtiest restaurant I have ever been it. Trash all over the floor. The bathrooms were unusably dirty. We were sat at a table and waited 15 minutes to be greeted. Then another 10 minutes on drinks. Then we waited 35 minutes for 2 meals. The food was awful. When we said something to our server he made a joke out of it and told us that it just depends on what cook is back there as to what we should not order. Never going back.
Love the food here. Always tasty no matter what we order. Great drink too!. Wait staff are polite, efficient, and accommodating. So glad one restaurant is located in Midwest City, OK. They are always busy!!My only complaint – it is too darned COLD in this restaurant! Next time Im bringing a coat or ordering take out.
Unimaginative menu with flavors that border on mundane. No item on the menu will pop out at you nor will it wow you in your first bite. The atmosphere is nice and wait staff are professional. But dollar for dollar you would he better off down the street at chilli’s.
Kind of like an upscale Dennys. The food is decent but not inspired. The atmosphere is casual and smoke-free.They have a nice appetizer of tortilla chips, queso with optional beef, and salsa.Found their triple appetizer bit salty – especially the Wisconsin Cheese Bites. The potato skins on the platter definitely needed something besides the sour cream – RANCH – which my amazingly energetic server was quick to fetch without a bat of her eye. Turns out that she just came on-shift after consuming her own order of cheese bites (grin). It is always reassuring to find out that the staff will actually consume the fare they schlep. There was no mistaking the enthusiasm shown here by Kallie. BTW, the server dealing with the next table was also bright and cheerful. My conclusion is that good things are happening at this eatery. They have soup / sandwich / salad combinations which are good. The spaghetti-based lasagna really was a miss for me.
