Always fast. Always friendly. Always good. My two complaints are that sometimes their egg drop soup is a little flavorless and their sweet and sour chicken can be a little over breaded. Other than that they do a good job satisfying my Chinese cravings. Their lunch special is the most bang for your buck I’ve found anywhere.
We have been there twice so for. The food has been great both times. We have ordered our food and taken it home , but they also have an area to set and eat.
Just not worth it — wish i had read the other reviews before I went. We ordered several different things to go. I was unhappy with the service, food and price. I won’t be going back ever. I called in the order, they asked when I could pick it up. I advised I could be there in 10 min, she said ok and took my name. I got there, went thru the drive thru and told them I was picking up my call in order. She advised me the total was $38.94, took my money, THEN began getting my order together. I waited over 10 min before she handed me the order. She was nice, but that is the only positive I can give. -6 pc Crab Rangoon – looked like tiny taquitos, greasy, very little filling-6 pc Cream Cheese Wonton – very small and greasy, much smaller than average-Sweet n Sour Chicken meal – this was the first meal put in a container and the sauce was put on the chicken, my fault for not asking for the sauce on the side. There were 7 BIG pieces of Chicken beginning to get soggy from the sauce when I got home. -Beef n Broccoli meal – I didn’t even try this but was told by the people who did that it wasn’t good, the flavor was off-Cashew Chicken meal – I don’t know where the chicken was in this dish, but I definitely found the water chestnuts. Biggest water chestnuts I’ve ever seen. The few cashews we did find, we were surprised that they tasted raw. I don’t think they were toasted at all, just added after the fact. -Fried bread with Sugar – I can’t stress enough how greasy this wasThe eggrolls were probably the best part of the meal, and that’s not saying much. Overall it just wasn’t worth the money or the time. Even if it was cheaper I wouldn’t go back. I wish I had thought to take a picture, but they use a standard styrofoam container with a main dish portion and two small ones. The entre is obviously in the big portion and a scoop of rice in one and the egg roll in the other.
DON’T GO HERE. I have patronized this hovel since they opened. … always been good until the past couple of months. .. last night was the last straw….I ordered $36 of food – same thing we always order: garlic fritter chicken, pork fried rice, crab rangoon…..It was SWILL…. the chicken was old, hard, and cold. .. the fried rice was the same. … the crab rangoon was so greasy the wax paper it was in was drippingwhen I called back the next day the owner, Chiu, hung up on me. .. said too bad. ..I called back and her son, Michael, said same thing – I should have driven all the way back the night beforeSTAY AWAY…. THEY ARE CRAPPY FOOD AND SERVICE NOW. .. sad to see a good restaurant go downhill
I’ve been going back and forth to this place for years..I’m just the kind of person that believes in second chances…every time I get sum bad food handed to me…I stray for awhile then I come back hoping they may have gotten back on track…well this evening is the end for me. The manger had the nerve to get mad at me for returning her yet again under cooked rice. She immediately chewed me out talking about I’m the only customer that complained all day…I was incredibly pleasant and insisted to her that I wasn’t complaining it was just her rice was really under cooked..she snapped at me saying I shldve tasted it before I drove off. She was very unfriendly and rude. What happened to customer service lady?.. You just lost a very loyal customer and a long line of followers because I come from a long line of Chinese food lovers and I will no longer recommend ur facility. Have a nice life and remember 2 extra minutes on rice can mean the difference between fluffy goodness and rubber which is what u served me this evening.
Absolutely Repulsive! I Created This Account Solely To Write This Review. We Ordered Lemon Chicken, Mongolian beef, Cheese Wontons, Beef Rolls, Hot N Sour Soup. The Portions Were Small And The Food Was Simply Terrible. I Returned It And They Told Me Sorry, You Ate Some, No Refund. Also You Have To Pay 27 For Fortune Cookies! Save Your Money For Long Zhu Or China House.
