Summary: Easy to miss building, interior is confusing, service is lacking, food is served VERY fast, sushi pieces are great (but the sushi rice was not), cooked items were good, may consider stopping by in the future if in MWC and hungryChong Wa is on the corner of 23rd and Douglas. The building is VERY small, and can be felt when you dine in. The interior is kind of…confusing? There’s some Asian decor, but the place also looks like an American diner (especially the booths). We were also confused at first on how we were supposed to order – do we come to the cashier or sit down at a table? Apparently, you sit down at a table. We chose the booth (which was surprisingly comfy) and ordered 2 Egg Rolls to start, Combination Fried Rice, The Good Roll, and the Oklahoma Roll (without Red Snapper). Our server who attended to us was not very attentive albeit very friendly. However, to our pleasant surprise, the food came out in under 10 minutes! It may seem like a standard time, but with sushi and cooking fried rice, that was very fast. As for the quality of the food, it was average to above average. The fried rice needed more flavor, but tasted decent due to the heat and contents (e.g. shrimp, char siu pork, chicken). Call me selective, but the rice on the sushi rolls were dry and not very sticky – it was basically more like cooked rice than sushi rice, but the fish and ingredients they used were fresh, so that’s what made it for us.Because the prices were very affordable and food completion was fast, if we are in Midwest City, we’ll definitely consider stopping by again.

GOOD SUSHI! Tried a mix of raw and cooked rolls, and seriously they were fantastic. The atmosphere was like a Denny’s but the food rivals Neko. Hidden gem, best sushi near base!

A Bit of a Puzzlement – Great Food & Amateur Service.I’ve eaten here several times since they opened. The food has been consistently superior and the service consistently slow and haphazard. Amateurish is the word that comes to mind to describe the front of the restaurant.Today was an experience that I hope they won’t repeat. I walked into the restaurant after the lunch rush to find one booth occupied and one customer at the cash register obviously paying for a to-go order. There were three employees at the front of the restaurant and at least one in the back presumably preparing food. It took better than five minutes to be acknowledged as a customer as everyone seemed to be initially intent on stuffing food into a bag at the register. Afterwards one went to the back, one continued to deal with the register, and one turned to watching the TV. Eventually the owner looked up from the register and started the greeting process. Had I not eaten here a few times I would have turned around and left. Getting people greeted and seated quickly is critical to getting new customers to stay and eat. Hopefully they will step up their game with some professional training for the staff at the front of the store. On the good side, once they got my order they produced the meal expediently. It was both filling and delicious as usual.

Not worth the drive from the south side of okc. Maybe the best Chinese and sushi in this area but not in town. The caterpillar was decent. I didn’t care for the sesame or general chicken. Crab Rangoon was ok. Service was good. Best Chinese food I’ve had in the metro so far is Fungs kitchen.
