They are the bar by which all other Chinese food is measured by.I have been visiting this establishment for the past…at least 20 years. I want to say it was when I was 8 but I know I was at least 11 and am now 31. I’ve been going since they used to be across the street and down a bit before their new building. The two reasons I do not give them 5 stars is because it does need a facelift and they, maybe one time out of 8-10 visits, can give less than their best. But their beef teriyaki is better than what I’ve had at higher scale restaurants. Their sesame chicken has the proper ratio of crunch to moisture. Their egg roles are perfectly balanced between cabbage, carrots, and meat, while other places can be all cabbage or all carrots. Their rice is easily an 8/10. The sweet and sour sauce is the measuring stick to which all others must equal. Their egg drop soup is flavorful and hearty. And do not even get me started on just how perfect their lo mein is. I almost can’t order them anywhere else because no one seems to have their level of flavor from the select vegetables added and consistency of the noodles. Their orange chicken proves that everything is handmade as the orange rind is carefully cut and not like anything you’ll see in a jar. While eating I’ve noticed people come in, look around, and begin to leave because it looks like a hole-in-the-wall place. Anyone I’ve ever assured to eat, offering to cover their food if they don’t like it, has thanked me for this advice. Please go. Spending $4-$5 for an order that can last you two days is part of why I’ve been going so long.
Stopped by and got cashew chicken with fried rice it was so greasy, waste of money. I will never go back. Tried the one across the street a few weeks before and thought it was bad but it is far better than the this place.
Food. Have ate there for years back when they were across the street in the old gas station building. It is what it is but I get a good meal for a fair price everytime. I will keep going as long as they are there.
Gone here 100 times. Same family for over 20 years. Great food. Great people.
A lackluster lunch buffet. The soup was unpalatable.
Skip it and head across the street to Chiu Wu.
I love it, their fast and friendly service along with the more than abundant meal is amazing keep up the great job.
