I came to this website because Napoleon’s Deli catered a lunch at our Medical Clinic. One of the things they served was tomato soup. I had gone online to try to find the recipe to that soup–because it was delicious! I have been craving it ever since. But, they have had me hooked on their sandwiches, for many years. I love the #9 tuna and apple. And, I also love the Emperor sandwich. And, if they have bread pudding available, I can never resist it. I’m very thankful for this restaurant, and that we are privileged to have it based in Midwest City.
I can say the bread was very good. Can’t say much more. Inside my #1 was a 1/4 head of lettuce and a pint of mayonnaise. They was very little meat and the bacon was nonexistent. I have eaten at napoleons from the time they started on west Reno in front of Tener’s western ware. I followed them to 29th st in Midwest. City and then to south Douglas. Things sure Change with this new owners and the new location. I am very sorry this has happened.
Unimpressed. It wasn’t anything special that I couldn’t easily make at home. The bread was really great, but that’s about it. They only have two options if you don’t eat meat and the seafood salad was not great. Only imitation crab, boiled shrimp, and the shredded lettuce they put on sandwiches. We won’t be going back.
Yum!. We went in last week and though it has changed owners and locations, I thought everything was still just as tasty as before and….that DRESSING. I love it! I had the new yorker this time, but I used to get, of all things, the lasagna! I also love that i can use my debit card there now. There is something different about the atmosphere without Rene there though. His large personality was one of the great draws of going to Napoleons. I still reccomend going, because the food is delish.
Since the new owners came in- the food quality has continued to go down. Very little meat on the sandwich and not friendly at all. I will not return.
This is easily the worst deli I’ve ever visited. If you like paying $8 for a poor serving of veggies, 2 slices of meat, the world’s cheapest cheese, some OK bread, and drowned in a garlic Ranch dressing, then this is the place for you.
I absolutely love this place. The tasty, homemade food, friendly staff, and great atmosphere makes a wonderful combination. Go support this local business!
