Just opened so service is a bit rough as the trainers get the crew indoctrinated. Management is really enthusiastic as you will read below.I went in for a late lunch about the day it opened. It is kind of a cross between Chicken-Fil-A, Kentucky Fried Chicken, and Raising Cane’s.Generally the food is tasty and likely a bit high in sodium. They primarily do Chicken fingers and Chicken wings. Both are pretty good. They also do fried mushrooms, salads, sandwiches, Chicken salad sandwich, tater chips, and onion rings, deserts, milkshakes, cookies, and brownies among other thingsI ordered the Wings & Things – Traditional, Fried Mushrooms, and Pasta Salad. The Wings & Things – Traditional consisted of Chicken Wings, Chicken Tenders, French Fries, Toast, Zax dipping sauce, celery, and Ranch Dip. Kind of like a Cane’s but with real choices. Kind of like Chick-fil-A but with Wings. The Fried Mushrooms are deep fried breaded Mushroom Slices and parts thereof.. The breading is a bit salty, and the dipping sauce has horseradish which works very well with their breading and the mushrooms. It’s a bit pricy for the quantity but they ARE tasty. The Pasta Salad was the least successful thing I got. The pasta was really chewy and somehow grainy too. Even though there was roasted corn and black beans mixed in it was pretty flat tasting. The saving grace was that the manager was chatting up customers and happened to observe me taking the first bites. He rushed over, asked me about the pasta, I demurred, and he replaced the pasta salad with Cole Slaw. Really good Cole Slaw. Looks, tastes, and feels just like Colonel Sanders made it himself. There is a KFC just a few blocks away and for a moment I sort of wondered if they perhaps repackaged a to-go order of cole slaw.I was extremely impressed with the management and have high expectations for the staff.
