The wife (aka War Dept or WD for short) was hungry for a burger. This visit was her first to 1907 (so she is a VV or Virgin Visitor). The Mickey Monday Burger ($6.00 on Monday) is a large bacon cheeseburger served with waffle fries that was placed in front of us within 10 minutes. The bacon was cooked thoroughly (i.e. the fat was cooked). The burger meat was not obnoxiously seasoned and, very importantly, the tomato was fresh. We ordered the jalapeo poppers ($2.49) which were crispy on the outside with cheese inside of a mac and cheese quality. The brews (10 different taps plus bottled) are reasonable. Pacifico draft is $4.00 and Blue Moon draft is $3.00. TV’S are plentiful throughout for sports watching. We shall return!
This restaurant is just a mile or two from our house, so we’ve eaten there a dozen times or so. When it first opened, the service was very slow. Recently however, the service is much better- no complaints. They recently released a new menu, and there are a wide variety of options. We really enjoy the food! They have GREAT daily lunch specials too at prices you can’t beat. Their Mushroom Switzer burger with sweet potato fries is my favorite menu item.
Great beer selection and enjoyed all the food items we have tried! We have eaten here 5 times, and have enjoyed the food and service every time. My favorite is the Mickey burger and sweet potato fries – yum! The chicken tenders are also good – and a generous portion. This place is a good value to take the family for dinner, and also a great beer/drink selection with plenty of TVs to grab drinks with friends and watch a game. The overall theme of ‘1907’ and all the pictures of famous Oklahomans is pretty cool to check out as well 😉 1907 made it on our short list of places where we frequently dine out.
Have been to 1907 several times. I have always enjoyed the atmosphere and the staff. As with any restaurant you might catch them On an off night but overall our food has always been good and their specials on Monday – Wednesday make the meal very affordable. The chicken strips are excellent, burgers are on point, and the sides are good. On another note they accommodated a group of 12 very well on one occasion. I will return many more times. Maybe tonight!
Great food, atmosphere AND service. We took the recommendations our waiter, Alan, made and were not disappointed.The okie fries had a nice bite to them, the sweet potato fries were thin, crispy and well seasoned, just the way we like them. We ordered the chicken tenders (generous portion, lightly breaded), and three different burgers (including the bison burger).Will definitely be back … highly recommended!
It was really underwhelming food to be honest. The design and atmosphere is nice but I wish they had spent more effort on creating a fitting menu.
