There was a hair in my food and that is enough to never go back again. For a restaurant that just opened you would think their quality control would make sure this never happened. I can’t imagine what it’ll be like months in.
I only go to Dairy Queen now for the ice cream. They make the best chocolate malt in the world. As far as the non-ice cream items go, the meat on the hamburgers is great. I like the fries and I am not a french fry fan. I forgot how bland the bread is, though, on the sandwiches and hot dogs. Just go for the ice cream 🙂 and you’ll be happy. Also, unless you like McDonald’s burgers, tell them to leave the ketchup off of your burger.
No contact. According to the website, this is the onlyLocation with the cakes. I tried to order online for my daughters birthday had problems, so I tried to call multiple times to order a cake and no one has answered their phone or returned my calls! Are you just too busy? Or do you just not want my business??
Okay with me. Been here 3 times and each time has been good—no problems—just hope is stays that way.
Above and Beyond. Too many people that write these reviews are fast food snobs. You people sound so petty. The owner of this facility was standing AT the door greeting people, cleaning tables, assisting the employees, and wishing the customers a good night when they were finished. The customer service was above and beyond. The employees were well behaved and respectful. We received our order within a few minutes, and it was all hot and fresh. The Orange Julius shakes were phenomenal as usual. The facility was unbelievably clean, which is very hard to accomplish in a high-traffic restaurant. It’s an above average fast food restaurant, what did you all expect? The food, desserts, and staff were all excellent. I am certainly a repeat customer. Cheers to the owner who spent his own time making the customers’ day brighter.
Disappointing. After the grand-opening hysteria has settled down, it’s just pretty much exactly what it always was. Sub-par food, blizzards, and service.DQ pretty much became extinct in the large cities and this one will follow the same fate if it doesn’t improve.I dont know how a brand new restaurant with so much fanfare can be so crappy, and basically just stay that way. It’s sad, because lots of people had fond memories because they had grown up inside a DQ, but all that’s fond are the memories. This place sucks.
Food selection is better than some out of state DQs I have visited. My order tasted ok. Drink selection was anemic. I’d assume a place this new would have one of those 20-in-1 touchscreen dispensers. They have iced tea but only the sweetened tasted good. Since I like tea slightly sweetened I mixed sweetened and unsweetened and wasn’t thrilled. Since nothing was on the fountain I liked I just tossed the drink. Dessert is what you’d expect – quite good.Ambiance was strange. Several televisions with sports but some weird live concert playing on the overhead speakers. The place is a ‘grill and chill’ but the music was more grill than chill. Nothing I recognized but it wasn’t particularly good. I think it was Sirius XM but they might be better suited with more mainstream ‘safe’ channels (70s on 7 or the like) or just pipe the sports audio instead. The interior decor was decent though.I’d likely go back for dessert but drive-thru only and not for anything involving beverages.
