We ate here 6/12/16 and had a really great experience. Seems like a local family owned business, several guests appeared to know the workers and be regular customers. The wife had chicken parm that she really enjoyed and I had veal parm that was great. We ordered the stuffed mushrooms, which were ok. The best part of that appetizer was the pink sauce they were in. I’d recommend getting the pink sauce on its own for your bread. The marinara sauce had a different taste but it wasn’t bad. We’ll be going back for sure.
A decent restaurant for Italian food. The portions are large for an inexpensive price. The server was not attentive and the long-wait was not worth the food quality that we received. My date ended up drinking out of my water-cup because we did not receive refills. It is usually never busy either, so it is confusing why we received the service that we did.The food is very basic that could probably be made at home, but nonetheless, if you are looking for inexpensive Italian food, this place is a must-go. I have only been here twice.
One of my fave places! Salad is nothing to get excited about (seriously some iceburg with a slice of tomato) but the house dressing is quite tasty. The bread is decent – my boys really like it more than I do. Chicken cremora is my fave dish – very rich and saucy, just really, really good. (swimming in butter, but since I eat it only a few times a year I won’t worry about it too much lol) My older son loves the lasagna and the middle kid is a fan of the tilapia. Friendly family place!
Good food, reasonable prices.. Last night we ate at Fontana Italian Restraunt in Moore. My husband ordered the sausage and meatball platter and I had the pasta combo (lasagna, manicotti and canneloni). Salad and rolls are served with entrees. We also ordered the garlic cheese bread. The sauce that came with the cheese bread was freshly made and was heavenly. We both had the house dressing which had a bit of a catalina look to it but it too was a freshly made italian dressing that was deliscious. Both entree plates were well received. The amount of food on each plate was modest but filling. No take home of leftovers, it was so good we had to finish it all! The prices are in line with the amount of food you receive. The lasagna was full flavored but not heavy. If you want to try someplace new, check out Fontana in Moore.
Phil. Have been to this restaurant many times–Has been delicious every time. I always enjoy going to lunch there. It beats OG!!!
Poor service – never got served !. Was greated by a waiter who looked like he slep in his clothes, not a clean impression. He said there as to where to sit, from that point no contact, smile or we will be with you soon, nothing! After sitting for 15 minutes, no one waited on me so I left. The place was not busy !This was my first and last visit to this place. They should make the waiter dress a little cleaner, that alone was not a good impression, his greased hair in his face. Not shaved and dirty pants.Waiter never made eye contact with me.I was well dressed but I felt they didn’t want me there, I was ONLY 1 person.
Albanian?. This was easily the worst Italian food I’ve ever had, maybe the worst food period. The manager is Albanian and probably wouldn’t recognize good Italian food if it bit him on the ass. The ‘salad’, if I can use the word, was a plate of chopped iceberg with a nano sized tomato slice and a hint of carrot and red cabbage under the house vinaigrette – which tasted like Kraft’s French with oil. My marinara was Ragu straight from the bottle. God only knows what they did to my veal Parmesan. My wife’s Alfredo could have tasted like paste – that would have been a distinct improvement. Even the bread was brown and serve rolls with dipping oil. Yech! Terrible!
