I used to like eating here until visiting the restrooms my last two visits…filthy! If the cleanliness of the bathrooms is any reflection of the kitchen cleanliness, they should be closed down.
Back to Basics. I had the Harvest Chicken Salad – on a bed of lettuce, I was trying to be a little health conscious (we both know the mayo in that isn’t healthy) It was good though. And the tea of course is always good. Just a basic chicken salad.
New experience. Bunch of so pleasant staff, everybody very friendly and service oriented, prices on the border. The food, I am sure it’s good just not my type, although one of the best mashed potato and gravy.
Service is poor. The last time I went there, almost all the servers had some sort of attitude problem. Their food is okay, but it’s nothing amazing or anything. Though I do appreciate their vegetable soup.
Huge Spuds. This is a nice place for some easy, simple food like spuds and sandwiches. A bunch of us went there and we all enjoyed what we ordered. I had their Spud Ole and it was okay. I think I’ll stick to the Black Angus Roast Beef Spud. That one was very flavorful and more of what I like. Their Nachos is pretty decent. Big plate of chips with tasty cheese sauce? No complaints over here. It was enjoyed by all. Feedback from the group is that the sandwiches are pretty much okay in general. It’s a good place for a quick stop for food, but there are certainly plenty other choices in the surrounding area. With that said, it was packed during lunch when we went. Barely any tables available and that’s consistent from the time we got there to the time we left.
Love the food just wish we got more of it, ordered nachos to go today amping up for OU Texas game when we get home there’s barely any chips and they are all from the bottom of the bag. Very disappointed after I asked the cashier if they hook you up on to go nachos since I’ve seen co workers cone home with multiple bags of chips. Unfortunately this will effect my return to this location and how I describe my feelings towards mcalisters in general. Lack of consistency is bad business.
Love their chicken tortilla soup & sweet tea!
