The wife and I thought we would give this place a try and were rewarded with a great experience. I think the biggest misconception about Okietonk that likely causes negative reviews is people thinking its a family restaurant with a bar. Its definitely is a bar that serves excellent food. Its loud and smoke filled. Non-smoking area available separate from the bar area.SERVICE: service was good, waiter was attentive and checked on us regularly.FOOD: I had the Big 12 cheeseburger w/ chili, it was excellent. My wife had the Okie nachos, she said they were possibly the best nachos shed ever had. Will be back again soon.

Monday 1/2 price burger night and all u can eat crab Wednesday.On Mondays I typically get a 11-12 dollar burger pay half price of course. It’s call the bad boy burger. Looks kinda weird but it is so good! Egg, bacon, peanut butter, jelly, and chili..with sliced ghost pepper, jalapeos, lettuce etc. This is a big ass burger..I believe 10 oz? and I’m pretty adventurous so I like it a lot. I don’t typically eat burgers but if I do it damn sure is going to have peanut butter on it..egg makes it very rich and this burger is full of protein. Like i said I’m not much of a burger gal but this makes my mouth water 3.5 cause I don’t like burgers but I sure do like that one!

The only good thing about this place is the live music. Food is bad, service is bad. I got the chicken fried steak sandwich and it was really dry and the curly fries were small broken little pieces. My wife got the chicken fried steak with mashed potatoes and it was dry and the mashed potatoes had way too much pepper.
Will not be back. We used to go to the old place all the time to eat. So we waited till they were open for a while and went last night. The waitress didn’t have a clue on anything on the menu when we had questions about it. My husband had the fish and chips which was one one of my favorites there. It looked like it was almost burnt from from over frying. My daughter had the chicken fried steak and all the breading fell off of it when she cut into it. I had the Indian taco and my daughters boyfriend had one of their hamburgers. Both are way overpriced for the portion you received. I’m sorry I’m not impressed.
Well………. I ordered the chicken fried steak, it was tough, my mashed potatos looked like they had been in a warmer for about a week and my aunt ordered the Indian taco which we found out was not a Indian taco at all but more less a big toastada. The waitstaff was nonexistent we had to go find them. And when we finally found him, we seen him jus 1 more time though out the entire meal………I will not b back!!!!!!!
