First time there and ordered the chicken fried steak based in the reviews. It was really good and the cream gravy was very peppery. The fries were just ok and the vegetable medley was good. Will try the fried catfish next time! It looked great as they were passing by me with other people’s orders. The service was pretty sketchy at best, but it was a very busy time. Will try again soon though!
If you want a very nicely prepared, and generously portioned plate of fried catfish, or a chicken fried steak, this restaurant would be a good choice.The restaurant atmosphere is not fancy, but everyday pleasant.Service was acceptable, no complaints.

Nice little place. They have decent food and good prices. The waitstaff is mostly good. It’s not a 5 star restaurant but it’s not supposed to be. Just good home style food with good prices and a mellow, old fashioned atmosphere. One of my favorite places to go after a busy workday and chill out with a chicken fried steak.
Huh?. Ate here again after 5 yrs. How is this place still open? Worst Philly or steak sandwich I’ve ever had.
Food is alright nothing I couldn’t make from home (from a box in my freezer). Service was nice :] very friendly and welcoming. But some of the prices are a little higher than I’d expect.
Mmmm…Fried Pickles!. The fried pickles are amazing! I haven’t had food that was bad there. Prices are decent, and service is generally good and quick. I’ll keep going back as I am able!
