I visited Pie Five in Moore last night and quite frankly was appalled at what I saw. It appeared there was some sort of issue happening between an employee and the manager. The manager was allowing the employee to stay on the line while she berated her and the employee was crying and making it pretty uncomfortable. Once she had decided she was done talking to her in front of the customers she had her go to the back and while I couldn’t see much from the cash register area I did see her PHYSICALLY GRAB the employees wrist. I was beyond shocked. This is completely unacceptable behavior for someone in a management position to display. I cannot believe that the upper management allows this woman to behave this way. I would hate to see what happens when the customers are not around to witness. I will not patronize a place that thinks it is okay to physically put your hands on employees. They need to really reevaluate who they allow to be in charge at Pie Five.
Food was good but not great. Salad was wilted. Not impressed and probably won’t go back. Seemed pricey for what you got. Pizza plus wilted salad and a drink for $10.49 seems a bit much for the quality.
Very good pizza, while not huge, is very filling. Ingredients taste fresh and they will add more if asked. Very good variety of sauces too and their spicy tomato sauce is SPICEY. Havetwo of the newer soda machines with a ton of flavors. The onlycaveat is that you have to wait while they make your pizza, which is good and bad; you get the pizza freshly cooked, but there is a wait and the line can be long. It is usually worth it.
Great pizza. Custom made for each person and you don’t have to wait very long for it to cook. Fantastic crust. Perfect size pizza for each person. The service is very good.
We went to Pie Five last night and I was pleasantly surprised. They have a really cool formula, all pizzas and all salads are $5.99, regardless of topings. Smaller kid pizzas are $3.99. Their bundle is $9.99 for a pizza, side salad and drink. Considering that this is a full custom pizza, that’s pretty reasonable. Mostly they’re unknown, but at 7:00 PM they were packed; after we ate there wasn’t even a line. My wife and I each brought two pieces home and I’m looking forward to the leftovers! Great place, give them a try. Top pizza is thin crust alfredo with pepperoni, mushroom, jalepino and black olive. Bottom is the High Five combo with a few extras.
Like the variety . Walk through the line, and can get your pie made your way. Also noted, they have a gluten-free crust option. Same deal with the salad options, can get it made the way you like it. All in all a great little pizza joint.
This is my first 5.0 I have given. I have heard that these guys aren’t busy, which is unfortunate. I am a huge fan of upper crust and this just as good, and better than humble pie.I haven’t been in the store myself as my wife picks up the pizza for my flights, but it’s delicious. You are basically getting a gourmet pizza and almost half the price. Not to mention they have whole wheat and gluten free crust which upper crust nor humble pie do. The jalapeos and other ingredients seem fresh and you get a lot of cheese. My only negative, and it’s not even a negative because at the price they sell their pizza at makes it a mute point, but there isn’t a whole lot of toppings. A good amount but not a lot. Again, not even a negative point, that’s scraping the bottom of the barrel to find something negative. Here’s hoping to this business getting more attention and thriving in Moore!Cheers
