Amazing!!! Environment was fuN! Excellent service! Food was really good! Out of the way but so worth it! Reminded me of my childhood dinners at my Grandmothers!
I chose to have the Cordon Blu over the buffet. My meat was very tough. Not worth $25. The salad was delicious. I recommend the mushroom gravy and mashed potatoes.
Great food but I was surprised by the bill. I asked for potatoes instead of noodles. Was charged for a side instead of substituting. The waiter offered bread and it was on the bill as an appetizer. We will come again but will clarify the charges before ordering. Food was really good and the paprika schtenchel was especially tasty. Next t I’m hope to try the Thursday night buffet.
$140.00 LEARNING EXPERIENCE!My family has been talking about visiting this place for some time. Well, last night 6 of us went, we each had the buffet. We all tried some of most everything on the buffet, with only one exception, me, my daughter and son in law had sauerkraut. Consequently, this morning I messaged everyone to see if they had a similar experience as myself, which was I was up sick all night. Come to find out my daughter and son in law were both sick throughout the night. The only commonality is we had the sauerkraut and the other 3 of our party had red cabbage. The rest of our dining experience consisted of sub-par cuisine, nothing like what I read about in other reviews. Everyone wanted tea until we discovered how weak and tasteless it was, then no one wanted tea. The service was so-so, with the exception of the 45 minutes we waited for coffee, that was just rude and unacceptable. It was our first time, and our last.
We called and asked if we needed reservations. We were told no, but it gets busy after 7 p.m. we got there about 6:45. We were told we couldn’t be seated because we didn’t have a reservation. When we spoke to the manager all he had to say was we were told wrong. No offer to try and seat us or make us a reservation for another night. Just a sorry you were misinformed. Then he walked off. Not good service.
Great food and service tonight. Only one minor complaint. If you get a sampler to see if you like one of the home brews, it should be free if you order a full size beer, not get charged 76 for a shot glass of beer
Evening dinner. Horrible staff horrible experience
