Closest Thing to Homemade!. Let’s face it, all Mexican restaurants are the same. Same type of food. Same type of quality (mostly). Same type of menu. The menu at Morelos is not expansive but what they have is very good and frankly very similar to mom’s. Love it! It is worth the trip.

Good food, lousy service. I’ve only been twice, but both times we stood at the counter waiting while the staff talked. After 5 minutes we were approached with attitude as if we were imposing. The food is quite good, but we never felt welcome anywhere in the store, we were made to feel we shouldn’t be shopping there. Thanks, but we’ll spend our money where it is appreciated.

I thought the prices were a little steep for the tacos, but they were amazing so I guess it evens out. They have an awesome selection of pan dulce.

My favorite Mexican food in Moore. There is a restaurant located inside the Supermercado Morelos grocery store; it has about 12 booths for dining in & you can order to go. The serving ladies are all friendly, which is nice. Some of them are more fluent in English than others, but I’ve never had trouble getting what I ordered.A plate is now $6.99 for two meats, rice, beans, and tortillas (corn or flour)A taco is still $1.50, I think. There are also Tortas, wonderful giant Quesadillas and other things. There are about 12 different meats (carne asada, al pastor, barbacoa, etc) to choose from for plates and tacos. Next is a salsa bar with serveral kinds of salsa, guacamole, chopped onions, cilantro, pico de gallo, etc. They provide small salsa cups for to-go orders.I haven’t had a bad thing yet, and I’ve tried most of them. I usually get it to go with a big sack of Pan Dulce (Mexican pastries) on the side. Two plates ($14 worth) is enough for four people, with leftovers… it’s a real bargain. I enthusiastically recommend it.

Super Authentic. Cool mercado, great people. Lunch is crazy good! What’s better than a Mexican Grandma making fresh tortillas for you chorizo tacos? Not much! The kitchen is spotless clean and the people are very nice. Authentic Mexican food… Tacos, Tortas, Tamales, all of it. Try the soup, some day’s it’s chicken and some day’s it’s beef. It’s always awesome!!! Be adventurous! Get the lengua or the menudo!! And don’t forget the Horchata…
