Too pricey!. I don’t know about everybody else, but ANY cafeteria style/fast food meal that costs more than $8.00 with tax is TOO EXPENSIVE.You can’t get the mid range meal and a drink for less than $10.00 at this place. The quality is middle of the road the price should be too.
IHateMuskogee. Not that good at all, if you have the palette of a geriatric patient, you may like it. I equate it to the liking of hospital food. All their food is cheap Sysco products. If you’re into that, then break your leg and visit Muskogee Regional Medical Center MRMC.
I absolutely love Charlie’s every time I go I always get the five chicken chunk dinner it is the best the rolls are fresh and hot the mashed potatoes is very very good I always get an extra side of potatoes to dip my chunks in. I don’t know you can find any other restaurant that is so clean and the employees are always friendly and smiling. Always go to the one on East Chandler. Haven’t been it’s a must go!!! Won’t regret it.
Hard not to like Charlie’s. …. Hard not to like Charlie’s.Pretty pricey for fried chicken, but you’re enjoying a piece of Muskogee with that 5 chunk dinner. So get it.
Used to work there ten years ago while in highschool. Still love it today. Service is great and the place has a high standard of cleanliness.
Hometown Favorite. Whenever I visit my parents in Muskogee, I almost always have to go to Charlie’s. Their chicken chunks are unlike anything else out there. The name may throw you off, but these are big chunks of white meat (not compressed nuggets) which are breaded and fried. They are perfectly seasoned, and incredibly juicy and savory.I love to dip the chicken chunks in my mashed potatoes, or, on occasion, dip them in honey. This location is my favorite Charlie’s, as they seem to have more selection when it comes to sides and entrees (though I always end up getting chicken chunks!).I keep hoping Charlie’s will continue to expand and open up a restaurant in Enid.
When I absolutely crave fried chicken, I go here. Great sides, including green beans and fresh rolls.
