Been here once and enjoyed it. The food and beer were good. The atmosphere is warm and delightful. It is a good place to have a quiet meal. The wife and I cant wait to go back.
What happened?! I used to work across the street and frequented BIB often for lunch. There was nothing better than a good brick oven pizza with a few beers. Ever since the upstairs bar expanded, food has suffered and so has service. The only thing still going on for this is their beer…and that is if you can get one. I miss the days of a small, quaint bar and intimate stage…no matter how dingy it was…and when you could still order something good.
Couldn’t rate the food if I wanted too. Could not get anyone to wait on us. Walked to bar to get us at least drinks. Was not asked if I wanted to start a tab. Rude…ignored. paid a cover at the door to hear eagles tribute band and relax,have a beer and eat a snack. 25.00 dollars for one crappy hour. Will never go back here again.
Frozen food. We had artichoke dip to start, and it was the best part, although the chips were stale and the bread served with it was old (I understand it should be stale, but it was past its prime). I ordered the patty melt with fries and got a turkey patty at the suggestion of the server. I thought it was cool that the waiter was making suggestions because you don’t see that often anymore. Then the food came. I got the melt and the turkey patty was a reheated frozen patty, I got mayo in a squeeze packet, and the onions weren’t cooked through. The fries were from the freezer, as well. My dining companion ordered fish and chips. He said the tartar sauce was good, but the fish was obviously not housemade and looked a lot like something you’d get at LJS. The service and beer were good, but the food was underwhelming.
Not bad at all
We love this place. We try something different every time we eat here and are never disappointed.
The Italian Nachos were pretty awful. Service was low. Overall unimpressed.
