Very disappointed – My wife, my daughter, my son-in-law and I went to Heartland last night for supper. The place itself is very attractive. Warm inviting decor. Too bad that’s the only good thing I can say. The food was average at best but would bring me back. However, the service was horrid! The service was so bad I wouldn’t go back even if the food had been great. There are too many places between my house and this place with good food and good service to make me want to return. One & done & that’s a shame.
Great food, I cannot say enough about how good their food is, but the service leaves a lot to be desired. I would give Heartland a 5 hands down, but the service ruins it. They take forever to wait on you, forget things (like the dessert they were supposed to bring out for my birthday), run out of things. I highly suggest getting your food to go, then you don’t have to deal with poor service.

So glad to see this location finally have a really good restaurant! Fairly priced, simple, good food to please any guest, and we had super sweet waitress today. Drink glasses were always full. The manager checked on us twice. Perfect for watching a game, or a date night. We live close and will be back often. Hubs had the chicken fried steak, mashed potatoes and fried okra. He managed to eat half but saved his left overs for dinner, which he doesn’t normally do. I ordered the bone in buffalo wings, and they even breaded them for me. They were wonderful. We had chips and queso for an appetizer. The salsa was fresh and had amazing flavor, and the queso was yummy too. The chips just kind of melted in your mouth. Very pleased today! Can’t wait to come try the street tacos or the Reuben!
A very pleasant suprise since the previous 2 establishments abused the OKC diners with bad food and service. The menu selection is simple but the food is very good as well as the service. Recommend the ribeye steak, catfish, and the bisque to name a few excellent food items here.
