On the spur of the moment, we decided to see what the sandwiches were like here. We were surprised to find not only more than ham, but also more than sandwiches. The ham sandwiches come on a choice of five breads and have a great amount of flavor. The potato salad has a dilled, mustardy dressing, which is excellent. The oatmeal-raisin cookies have a much stronger oat taste than other stores’ offerings. The lemon bars are very nice, but for my taste they could be a little tarter. On the sandwich side, you’ll also find turkey and beef. Other sides include baked beans and cole slaw. Staff was very friendly even though we came a few minutes before closing time.
