AUTHENTIC. Authentic mexican food at reasonable prices. No need to pay $5 for a taco. Here you will get what you want and be satisfied. Great service and if you want to shop around after, there is a great bakery with super tasty bread and an amazing meat market!
Good Torta. La Michoacana is good place to eat Authentic Mexican on a budget. I ate a fajita torta yesterday for $3.78 with tax. The ladies make it how you want it and it is good. Many meats to choose from, platters for $6. Much cheaper than going to a restaurant and it is just as good for the most part.
Authentic and Cheap!. For $5 you get a plato w/ rice, beans, 2 meat choices, tortillas and a little salsa bar w/ delicious fresh salsas. They pile it on high and its very delicious 🙂 For dessert I grab a fresh pan dulce (sweet bread), and of course a bottled coke to wash it down, Awesome! I eat here every weekend, its best to come early, thats when they have the best and freshest selection…
WELL KEPT SECRET? YUP!. Wonderful little taqueria up front and a great selection of meats and produce, as well. Go for the eggs with nopalitos (tender cactus shoots). Primo stuff.
I love all their marinated meats. And the prices are great. I have been going there for years to stock up for bbqs.
Kind of like Chipotle, but a million times better. It’s like subway, but the end product is a delicious burrito. You can out rice, beans, potatoes, roasted potatoes, various veggies, salsas, and a slew of different slow roasted meats in the biggest tortilla I’ve ever seen, for the biggest baddest burrito out there. They are about the length of an adults forearm. Not even close to kidding. And depending on what you out on them, they cost around 3 bucks. Try eating more than one, but i hear it;s impossible. I can’t even finish one!
Awesome Meat Market!. I bought their Bistek Marinado (marinated flank steak) for a Cinco de Mayo lunch. It was only $3.89 per lb. I grilled it over a medium heat, sliced it and served it with tortillas and Pico de Gallo. The marinade was excellent, but not over powering. Everyone simply raved about it!Update 5/16/11: Price increase to $5.49lb
