I cant say enough about this place other than they need to open more locations The food is awesome and the coffee is great as well I always sit at the bar and truly have not had anything that I did not like or feel was excellent. They often have really good specials. I think Ive only been for lunch once but Ive eaten breakfast at this location and I will continue to go back.
I met a friend here for breakfast on a Saturday morning at 8:15 am. I am glad that we did not come any later. It was packed both outside and inside when we arrived. The host told us that we would have to wait 30 to 45 minutes for a table (inside or outside). There was immediate seating at the bar, so we opted for that instead.I am a pancake lover, so I went for the Looney Cakes – pancakes with all the ingredients of carrot cake. There were simply delicious. They had everything I like about carrot cake – warm spice flavors, shredded carrots, little bits of nuts, a medium level sweetness, and a dense, cake-like texture. On top of that, they were warm. I ordered the two frosting toppings on the side, and I am glad that I did. When I tasted them with a bite of pancake, I ended up with a final product that was too sweet for me. If you have a sweet tooth, though, you will want to order the pancakes as described in the menu.It was rather loud at the bar. I had to concentrate intensely to be able to carry on a conversation with my friend. I am not sure if the noise level carries over to the dining room, but it is definitely quieter outside. If it weren’t so noisy in the dining room, I would have given this restaurant a 5 instead of a 4.
