Never again! I now know why Pearl’s is struggling to stay in business. Our party was turned away because one male individual had on a tank top, when other female patrons had on sleeveless tops. We used to be loyal and regular customers but never again!! This was nothing more than a clear case of discrimination based on our party.
This is the second occasion that my drink has been abruptlytaken from me at Pearls, based on false assumptions/misinformation that I wasdrunk. This time I asked the bartenderwhy my drink was taken and was told that someone heard me puking in thebathroom. Not true. I even attempted to talk with a manager whoaccused me of yelling at her. I am hardof hearing and wear hearing aids. However, like many senior citizens having hearing deficits, I cannotalways judge the loudness of my voice, especially in places with a lot ofbackground noise. The first time thishappened a couple of years ago, I informed Pearls’ staff of my hearing deficitand the problems associated with wearing hearing aids. So, my advice to anyone who has a hearingimpairment and wears hearing aides, keep your voice down, else your drink maybe literally ripped from you. In thelast 6 years, I frequented Pearls’ at least once a week. But, they lost a good customer by treating melike a degenerate. I felt so embarrassedand was humiliated in front of friends and other people patronizing therestaurant. I will never go back.
Unfriendly host with attitude. Waited at table for way more than 10 mins with out being greeted by a server as other we watched server servers make eye contact n wake by… needless to say we did not stay and won’t return.
I had my daughters dinner party their. Food was awesome, our server was great and was attentive. I like that the manager came over to make sure everything was well taken care of that’s a plus! I ate the Capponio it was delicious.Great memories with great family, friends & food!
My family from Texas loves to go here when they’re in town. The brunch has a Cajun twist and it’s definitely worth checking out. The Bloody Mary bar has more than enough options. I’ve had fish, chicken, gumbo and everything has been solid. Great happy hour specials and try the Cioppino for sure.
Ive eaten at Pearls for dinner long ago. Thought it was mediocre. We kept hearing alot of people say that their brunch is outta this world so today we did brunch. We were seated promptly and didnt have to wait. Our waiter was very responsive and provided good service. This is a Cajun twist on brunch! Menu choice were awesome. You have tex-mex dishes like Migas and Heuvos Rancheros up to Eggs Benedict and breakfast sandwhiches.I got the Gouda Grits with shrimpand sausage. My girlfriend got the crab cakes eggs benedict plate with a side of potato hash. The gouda grits came topped with sausage, shrimp and a cajun type sauce. It was superb! Just the right portion and it was just the right temperature. Came with a biscuit. The biscuit was crusty on top and savory. They give you a side of orange marmalade for the biscuit. The marmalade was mutherf#%*in delicous son! omg.My girls plate was just as awesome. The potato hash for a side is a must! Our tab was right at about $40. Not too shabby for what you get.The decor here is dim light and modern inside. They do have a dress code but its not a suit tie type place. It is a little nicer though. They also offer a bloody mary bar during brunch and brunch is saturdays and sundays!I highly recommend this place for brunch and my hats off to the chef for such awesome dishes!
Come on really who hasn’t eaten at Pearl’s by now? If you’re going to try one in Oklahoma City this is the one I would recommend. The establishment is well built, well staffed, provides great atmosphere and is accustomed to dealing with finicky customers who frequent that area. The menu is cliche at best but what more would you expect from a chain. This is a good stop if you’re in the area and looking for some mediocre seafood that makes you feel good. I prefer my alligator tail blackened and my calamari Rhode Island Style which is tossed with garlic butter and hot peppers.
