Awesome ambiance and cool to go for drinks – unique to the city. Love the patia and intimate seating inside. Great hustle and bustle at bar. Unique house drinks like nothing you can find anywhere – try the hatch margaritas . Limited menu – but you’re not there to eat
We were hesitant when trying to locate The Powerhouse but were we in for a surprise. The building was the actual house that powered the Farmer’s Market area. Walked in and decided to set at the bar and wait for our next visit to try the patio. We were greeted by the friendliest guys who told us about the building and the great finds when they were renovating, one of which is an old film found in the ceiling that was playing on one of the tvs. I ordered three drinks and they were all great. The beer selection is good. We ordered the Beer Companion which is a version of a plowboy plate and cleaned the tray. Will be back soon!

Their food is decent, I guess, the decor is great, but the price of drinks just isn’t practical. $7 for a half a shot glass of Jameson. $7 for a pint of beer. Seems slightly greedy. Such a cool area, too. Its newness will wear quickly and something else will come along. That’s how it works. I’d consider going back if they weren’t so unapologetic about their drink prices. Lots of other options and even newer places on the horizon. With more affordable beverages, surely.
My NEW Favorite Place. You must try this little gem! So cute and cozy with tasty food and fun drink specials. The entire staff is awesome. Although this place is small they have a great outdoor area and patio complete with a fireplace for chilly evenings. I plan on making frequent visits!
