Nothing Special. I ate here under duress! After reading the reviews of well respected US contributors I voted no, but was outnumbered. Having said that, I liked a few of the salsas and the tortillas were homemade and fresh. Too bad……..
Authentic, but. I tried this place the other day it was a little after the noon rush but not late enough that it should have mattered,(1:00) but the food was not hot,not very good, and over priced, considering the small portions. I seemed to be the only customer other than a couple of guys sending money, and having a cerveza. I’m afraid one trip will do me on this one !
Best tacos around. I couldn’t disagree more with the other review for this place. I drive here from Norman. Their carne asada is wonderful, the carnitas tacos have a unique spice to them, and the pozole is very good. The chips are made fresh to order and there is a rotating variety of table salsas. This place is great, and well worth the trip to Capitol Hill
Authentically poor. This restaurant unfortunately shows having native cooks in the kitchen doesn’t always mean good ethnic food will be produced. Everything and everyone here is certainly Latino and probably Chicano, but the food lacks flavor. Meals simply taste muddy in a culinary sense. El Milagro appears frequented by individuals wishing to send cash to Mexico, but they don’t stay to eat.
