Holy Cow! The BEST!. This is some of the best Traditional Mexican food I have eaten in Oklahoma. I had the tacos- but I kept starring at my friend’s dish. One had the Caldo de Res (A fantastic, beautiful and presentational soup with CHUNKS AND HUNKS of wonderful meats and veggies in a beef broth) and the other the Menudo- (intestines, not for me. It’s a texture thing…..very, very mushy). Everything is FRESH, HOMEMADE and WONDERFUL and the place gets PACKED so I am not sure if there is ever a good time to go. Salsas are hot and wonderful! Tortillas are fresh and homemade. I am so happy I went! Cash only. Get in where you can fit in and go try it. You wont be disappointed.

Grandma cuisine. The food at Taco Vaca comes a close as possible to that served in the family kitchens of surrounding Latino households. Simple preparations with high quality ingredients make for an excellent authentic experience. Almost everything can be customized, so be sure to ask if you would like something not on the menu. The desebrada and salsa verde are especially good.
Unbelievable authentic Mexican. A friend of mine took me to Taco Vaca maybe a year or so ago and I have been hooked ever since. I’ve been back probably 15 times since then and have made a point to take as many newbies there that I can. Most of them are happy with their Ted’s or Chelino’s, which are both decent Tex-Mex, but after eating at TV they understood what real Mexican food is. Hand pressed tortillas and gordita shells, fresh chili purees, pico de gallo, guacamole, tacos, enchiladas, tamales, they have it all. You can even watch the woman in the back press your tortillas. No chips and queso here. Just real, authentic, fresh, homemade Mexican food run by a lovely family. I take tortillas to-go by the dozens because they are just incredible. Stop reading and go grub on some Taco Vaca!
Hangover paradise. Gotta go here on a sunday Morning. Order the Menudo and a red beer. Your hangover will be gone in a jiffy!Speaking a little Spanish helps, and don’t order chips and queso….
