Muy no Bueno !!!!!!. Used to enjoy this place but the last time I was there the waitstaff was apathetic at best and bordering on hostile. As Anglos we were not made to feel welcome. We were ignored until finally flagging down a server who stared flatly as we ordered. We had the enchiladas with fried eggs. The enchiladas were smothered in a sickeningly sweet BBQ sauce and inedible. We asked twice for tortillas and never got them. Overall a horrible experience. Will NEVER go back.

All grilled meat is from quality cuts and marinated to perfection2. Tortillas are handmade in-house3. The dishes are truly authentic homestyle Mexican, no tex-mess4. HORCHATA! Steeped with fresh vanilla bean and cinnamon, the best ever.5. Vegetable relish is full of spices: garlic, bay leaf, celery, etc + the usual6. Queso fresco and Cotija are standard, not specialty7. Budget-friendly, especially for the quality of food8. Excellent service despite my shoddy Spanish (it behooves u to know a bit)9. MARIACHI on Fri-Sat night!10. I ate the single most delicious meal I’ve ever eaten in my life here…The Asada Molcajete
Authentic Mexican…. I love the carne asada tacos and the pickled veggies.
Get the big stone bowl! Wonderful selection of meats and grilled veggies. Ever had cactus? It’s in there too! The restaurant is tucked away next to I-240 but find it and enjoy!!
This is NOT Tex-Mex, it is the real deal. If you are looking for real Mexican Taqueria food you must try this place. It is not the tex-mex you will find at other so called Mexican places it is very real and very good.Although I don’t speak any Spanish I can point at things on the menu and order LOL… They were very friendly too.Taking friends there this week. 🙂
