The atmosphere is great. But the food and service is crap. We walked in with Starbucks coffee and we were told to chug it before the waiter saw us with it. We just got them from upstairs. The food took 30 or 40 min to get and we were the only ones in the restaurant. The food was dry and salty. $8 and it doesn’t even come with fries. Grass fed cows? It tasted more like dirt fed cows.

I read the reviews prior to going but decided I still had to go. We showed up pretty late (after 9 on a night they close at 10) and they were more than happy to serve us. We were seated at the bar and it did take a few minutes for the bartender to show up but he was quick with taking care of us, our food came out in a reasonable amount of time, was good, and we got out of there in time for them to close. We plan on going back for sure.
Customer Service? Not here.. Terrible customer service, and it takes forever to get the not so great food…Oh- and don’t bother trying to discuss this with management, they don’t care.
Horrible. Co-worker and I went for lunch; we were the only 2 people in the restaurant and it still took nearly half an hour to get our food. I would say the burgers were tasteless, except they had a funky flavor and texture, and the sides were extremely oily. The highly-touted shake was just so-so and a quarter of the glass was filled with some kind of thick and greasy artificial topping.
Disappointing. My coworkers and I had talked about eating here for a couple weeks since the restaurant had been renovated. The menu looked great (burgers, appetizers, milkshakes) and the decorations were cute with upside down colanders used as lights and Ikea-type couches positioned near the windows overlooking the canal. We finally made our way over yesterday, sat down and ordered our drinks. After maybe 5 minutes we still have no drinks. Then a man comes out and tells us that we can’t order burgers. What? It turns out that they didn’t have any buns (which, by the way, come from nearby Prairie Thunder Bakery). On a Tuesday. In the middle of lunch hour. This tells me that the place doesn’t have their act together, and I probably won’t be back for several months (or ever) until they shape up. We were all very disappointed and left. As a side note, Earl’s BBQ down the block had buns and was more than happy to get our business.
Great Burgers!. The Basement is located inside Redpin Bowling Lounge, one of our favorite places to go in Bricktown. We have always been big supporters of Redpin and we were really excited to try their new restaurant! The food was fantastic! They’ve added full size burgers to the menu, which my friends and I really enjoyed. There is a full service bar as well, and after dinner we scooted over and had a blast bowling.
