May be the best frozen yogurt place in the area. I had the Double Cookies and Cream and the Salted Caramel Pecan. Smooth creamy goodness! The Honey Graham Cracker yogurt was also really good (I sampled). My friend says that the flavors rotate daily and almost all of them are refined goodness. Lots of fresh fruit options, but I simply couldn’t pass up the oreo topping (including large Oreo wafers). Oh what fun. Adequate seating, some outside, plentiful parking. For a yogurt place, it is the only one for me in the OKC Metro area that gets 5 stars.

Tasty yogurts, lovely decor, and a variety of toppings. If we only count yogurt-specific businesses in the Quail Springs area, Yogurtland is the only establishment that offers frozen yogurt in the vicinity. What really makes Yogurtland stand out and keep us continued customers is how the company offers new flavors and ‘flavor tours’ throughout the seasons (e.g. Chocolate Banana, Strawberry Sorbet) and their options range from chocolately to fruity and all in between. With 8 machines and 16 flavors (not including the middle lever which mixes the 2 in those machines), you have a vast amount of options that everyone can enjoy. These flavors also taste much better to my husband and I because they don’t taste like they were straight from a melted ice cream batch that they just ‘froze’ in their machines – these flavors can stand alone and be served if they wanted to, and most – save for one or two – are easily my favorites. On top of that, their yogurts are fresh tasting, and they have a various array of toppings to choose from (e.g. Fruit, Chocolate, Marshmallows, Chocolate Syrups). They even have a ‘stamp card’ program where you can register a rewards card and rack up points by the ounce (which is pleasant, since some other yogurt places we visited do it by the cup, instead of how much you actually get, which can be a lot sometimes). The place is also usually kept clean and should you want to clean your palette before and/or after devouring your tasty, yogurt creation, there is a really neat water fountain in the corner that has some crisp, fresh water all the time. As for the service, it’s really the only ‘sort of’ con to the place, more like a hit-and-miss; sometimes there are fantastic and helpful staff, and sometimes there’s those who stand behind the register, which can make it awkward to hurry and finish assembling your yogurt masterpiece (I mean, an artist must take precious time, right?!).Other than that, it is easy to love Yogurtland and the place has a lot of pros for us to being continued customers. For my husband and I, we prefer Yogurtland over Orange Leaf (a major yogurt chain here in Oklahoma City) any day. It is worth it to give this place a try! Whether a quick and easy dessert after a dinner, or a treat for your children, this place is excellent if you like yogurt and ice cream!Tip: Step in and have a sample cup. Try their flavors. Unlike some places, they actually let you sample the flavors and have the cups in front of their register. We’ve been to some facilities where they actually ‘escort’ you to the machine and do it themselves. It makes for an awkward taste session and we usually end up settling for a flavor. Take advantage of their leniency and try their flavors out! That way, should you like it, you choose what flavor you REALLY love in the end! Tip: After you sample, before getting your yogurt, ask how to register for their rewards card! If you only go there once, great, you have a card. But should it become a frequent yogurt joint for you and your family, you’ll have some points for the future and eventually will get free yogurt! My husband and I forgot to do this the first 2 times and we could have dived into a free yogurt by now – learn from our mistakes! Additional Reading and Information:If you are unfamiliar with the concept, frozen yogurt is yogurt – either pre-mixed in cartons or home made in the store – that is ‘frozen’ in a soft serve ice cream machine. Frozen yogurt – just like yogurt – can contain the same health benefits of yogurt, leaning more towards the dessert side. Like Yogurtland, yogurt businesses often have a ‘serve your self and weigh by the ounce’ process at the end of it. The steps are simple:1) Get a cup2) Choose your yogurt flavors3) Choose your toppings (if you desire)4) Weigh by the Ounce and Pay by the total ounces x their cost of yogurt (which I believe Yogurtland is 49 cents per the ounce). There’s common myths about yogurt being very healthy for you. It really can be, but if you are looking to lay off the calories but treat yourselves out better, ask for the nutritional value of their yogurt so you can calorie, carb and protein count. Remember, the less toppings you have to will also contribute towards a healthy yogurt. Hope you enjoy! And thanks for reading!
