A really pocket friendly Mexican restaurant with pretty decent food. Tortilla chips and salsa was average but the food was great. The seating capacity is less and is crowded (for obvious reasons) . If you are looking to munch on some decent Mexican food and pay less, this is one of the best places in Tulsa.
Nice servers but slow service. I had the camarones a la Diablo. The shrimp and sauce was very good, my wife didn’t like the chili rellano said it was soggy. I have had the Mexican tacos and was very pleased it tasted like street tacos, I would like to try the menudo, but it’s only available on the weekends.
They were okay. They had good service and I enjoyed the environment but the food just lacked flavor. The warm salsa was probably the tastiest item they have. Kind of a bummer because it could be a great plafe. The waitresses are awesome though. They work together and that makes it great
Disappointed. We got seated relatively quickly for a Friday night. Chips and salsa were really good but we had to continue asking for more salsa, it wasn’t brought out regularly when they noticed we were out. My husband and I split the chicken fajitas which were pretty good; but the rice and beans sides were tiny!! Service was terrible. We had to continually ask for things without them readily being prompt about noticing and they kept forgetting, so we had to remind them several times. On top of all that, they failed to mention until they brought us the bill, that they charged us almost $3 for the chips and salsa since we split a meal. I guess their sneaky way of making you pay something for trying to split a meal. Very frustrating experience over all.
Great good and friendly service! One of the best chile rellenos I’ve had – the Ranchera sauce is wonderful! Great hot sauce. Well-priced kids’ meals – our kids love the cheese enchiladas. Family friendly atmosphere.
I absolutely love this restaurant. The only reason I didn’t give it a full 5 is it’s a bit cramped inside but that’s it. The service is always fast and friendly. My family and I have been eating here since they opened and have NEVER had a bad meal or bad service. I will mention that this is more authentic Mexican which I crave having grown up in New Mexico, this is not Tex Mex so if you are used to Casa Bonita, Ricardo’s, or Los Cabos….this will be a bit different. One of my absolute favorite dishes that they have, which is not on the menu is the Pineapple, I really encourage you to try it. Just simply ask the waitress for it, she will know what you are talking about!
This is most definitely my favorite restaurant in Owasso and my favorite Mexican restaurant in NE Oklahoma. The food is fresh and delicious every time. The service is friendly and efficient. I love their salsa and guacamole. The fish tacos and Mexico City tacos are the best. If you want something lighter, but still extremely delicious try the Enchiladas Espinaca. If you want to splurge you should try the Gabita Especial.
