Hot and Sour Soup. Great! Yummy for a cold day!!
Pan fried Dumplings. Very tasty! California style fried crunchy on one side and steamed on the other along with the filling it is a fantastic mix of textures. That is one thing I have missed about California style fried dumplings I could not find any here in Shawnee OK that could make them the same and Studio Wok has delivered! The service was very nice as well I have been there 2 times now and I plan on coming back for more soon!
A hidden gem! Stopped in for a bite on a Monday evening and it was pretty busy? The location hasn’t worked for a couple of other cuisines, but this one should be here a while! We’ll be back – just a note – they take a summer break in July so if you don’t make it in before July 4th, you hafta wait til Aug 1st!
Great Service, Good Food!. My son and I tried Studio Wok last week after a friend recommended it to us. Honestly, I would have never gone there if it had not been recommended as the exterior does not look appealing (overgrown grass, trash in the parking lot, no landscaping). However, I was very impressed with the great service-the waitress was friendly and knowledgeable about the menu and we received our food quickly. The food was good; maybe a bit bland compared to most Asian restaurants, but probably much more healthy which I appreciate.
This place is beyond fantastic! My husband and I wanted to try something new, and all of the other Chinese style cuisine in Shawnee has been disappointing. We tried Studio Wok and fell in love! The wait staff is incredibly nice and efficient. If you are unsure about what to try, they are incredibly knowledgeable about every item on the menu and tailor your order to your tastes. I love Thai food, and our waitress suggested the Spicy Chicken with a tailored spice level similar to Thai cuisine. It was amazing! My husband tried the Hawaiian chicken and let me tell you, the special sauce that it comes with accents the light crispiness of the chicken perfectly. We will definitely be returning!
