I don’t know how much I can blame the restaurant for this, but good gosh were there the flies buzzing in this restaurant last night. And, I think I got a full head of lettuce on my cheeseburger. Not one of my better nights at Braum’s.
Good Product, Poor/Unsanitary Service. Braum’s provides excellent dairy products from milk to eggs to ice cream, and their stores usually make a pretty good burger too, depending upon the location you go to. The service and cleanliness at the store on 51 in Stillwater is completely unacceptable. I wouldn’t even go in there to buy a gallon of milk let alone purchase a burger or ice cream cone. The floors are filthy, the serving counters are filthy, and the prep counters are filthy, The night I went in with my girlfriend (8.30.13, which was not my first visit, sorry Braum’s I tried…) I got in line to get an ice cream cone and was paid for and through long before my girlfriend who only ordered a small french fry. Needless to say we left and wont be going back, its probably better that she didn’t get those fries, she may have gotten sick… Its a shame that such a pleasing regional chain like this provides such poor service. To heck with regional identity, next time I’ll just go to walmart.

Double edged sword. I do like Braums but the service at both locations is HORRIBLE. They are rude, act put out to wait on you and if there are teenagers working, your kids concretes will have about 1/4 tsp of candy in them. It’s a rip off that their ice cream is so good! 🙂 We keep going back and so does everybody else. Guess that is why they allow their employees to treat the customers like dog poop!
