Great Food and Service. I go to El Tap (as referred to by ‘Stilly’ natives) almost every time I am craving Mexican food. I have never had a problem there with service or accuracy of food.Service is incredibly fast, even when they are packed. Cheap prices! I usually never pay over $10 for my food (large bowl of queso, beef enchilada with rice only, sweet tea). I am okay with eating there 4 days a week!
Best Mexican food in town for sure. Prices are low and the staff is always friendly. The quesadilla tropicana and their al pastor is legit!
Festive. Very Good food. VERY good. Not the best Mexican food I have ever had…but the entire package (colorful/ethnic decor, festive atmosphere, friendly/timely service,…) made for a very enjoyable experience. House margarita pretty decent. I would go back.
Friendly, affordable, and fast service. The staff is helpful and attentive. I like sitting outside and watching people play Frisbee golf. I am a fajita girl, and I get the pork fajitas every time. They have a small kick to them and have an authentic taste. The salsa has the perfect amount of cilantro. The refried beans are not runny, one of my Mexican restaurant pet peeves.
4 of us ordered flautas, Meet and cheese dinner and chimmichaga. My flautas were excellent. Festive environment and friendly staff.
Wednesday Night Treat. Since living in Stillwater, I can honestly say I have been to El Tapatio either for take out or to sit in at least once or twice every 2 weeks! I love their Queso and Taco Salad
Pretty good.. I’ve eaten there a few times, and the service is usually good.. as is the food. While I’m not floored by it’s awesomeness, it’s a pretty good place that I occasionally stop by.
