Great BBQ from a food truck!. Had the Cowboy Burrito for the first time. OH MY GOSH! What a great combination of flavors and the sauce they put on top is amazing, definitely need napkins, the meat was juicy (not greasy) and the helpings were very generous. This may be my new favorite BBQ ever!!! Will definitely be back!
I ordered 2 orders of ribs. They jammed 5 ribs into one container. 2 orders = 5 small ribs? Ribs tasted okay, but were really tough. The Cowboy Taco I also ordered was inedible. 3 Tablespoons of grease poured out of the container. Whatever meat was supposed to be in there wasn’t meat. IT was blobs of fat, on top of canned beans, covered with melted cheese. Didn’t even attempt to taste. It went right in the garbage with 4 1/2 ribs. Ick, Ick, Ick. Waste of time and money. Sorry Purdy Q. Won’t be back.
Just had chopped beef and potato salad! It was the best I have had so far in Stillwater! Best lunch I have had in awhile! Definitely recommend u try this if you are wanting BBQ! Dan u are too nice also!!
Dan is a great guy who is passionate about food. if you go, ask for the fried Cowboy Taco. Basically, imagine the best beans and brisket you’ve ever had, then roll that into a warm, crunchy tortilla and you’ll have an idea of what to expect. The basil fries are absolutely scrumptious, so don’t skip those! The portions are generous, the food is delicious, and the service is exceptional. Go visit PurdyQ. You won’t regret it!
Mobile, but good!. As of today I had the Cowboy Taco and Basil fries. It was very good. Everything smelled and looked great. The other folks getting food seemed very happy and excited about it. If your on Facebook, look for Purdy Q Mobile Smoke Pit. Find out where it will be and when.The cowboy taco was a flour tortilla with pulled brisket, beans, salsa, and shredded cheese. The basil fries are typical krinkle cut style fries with a Basil seasoning. I will likely try the pulled pork next time.
Wonderful. Their food is completely out of this world. Don’t let the fact that it’s a food truck fool you. This is absolutely the best barbecue I’ve ever had. The menu is full of items you can’t get anywhere else such as smoked chicken wings (dubbed Angel Wings because they’re straight from heaven), Cowboy Taco, and barbecue chimichanga. Beyond that, the items on the menu that are staples of barbecue restaurants are done better than you’d ever had. They use custom seasoning you can’t get anywhere else. The pulled pork is always juicy and the brisket is always tender. Give it a try sometime. You’ll be glad you did.
