Red Rock in Stillwater. Red Rock is my favorite place to go for lunch or a snack. They make their bread fresh every day, and their sandwiches can please even the toughest of patrons. You can tell their cookies are baked fresh, and its one of my favorite treats. I love Red Rock’s food but I can say, sometimes the staff takes a while to make it (even if you are the only one waiting), and once the lady was talking to her co-worker and it took her a minute to even realize I had been waiting in front of the register. But, it’s a great place to go if you have time and want some amazing deli food.
Quality. This is a small corner deli with about 4 little tables, but the emphasis seems to be on quality (as well as the assumption that most people will probably take their food to go). I had a chef’s salad that was beautifully prepared and delicious and very filling.
I was going to have a Sunday morning breakfast here but they were closed. 🙁 Luckily I went to Brooklyn’s instead.
Fast service, GREAT food. No matter how long the line when I go in, service is always very fast and even fairly friendly considering their pace. The baked goods are beyond compare, and the prices are very reasonable considering the quality. Only downfall is some items not being available well before close, but it just gets me out of the house sooner than later.
Club. Their club sandwich is my favorite sandwich in Stillwater. Period. Doesn’t even need mustard, mayo or anything but the amazing bread, veggies and meats and cheeses. Fried cinnamon role is a great dessert.
Great Lunch!. Truth is, the lines are usually long. But the food is excellent! My personal favorite is the chicken salad on white w/ onions & lettuce. The soups tend to be disappointing tho. Be careful ordering the soups.
