AWESOME place in THE VILLAGE. Great food. Great service. I think my taco salad weighed 3-4 lbs. The beef burrito was fantastic and HUGE. THREE people ate for under $30.00, with tip. (to-go, no drinks)We have also had The Backyard Skillet Fajitas — to die for. They marinate their meat for 24 hrs and you can tell. Honestly this can be two meals!Chips and salsa were great, a little spicy, but add it to the queso and it is great.Our new go to place AND in THE VILLAGE (keeping tax dollars at home)!!

My daughter & I had lunch here Saturday. The food & service were good. My daughter had the chimi which was more than she could eat in one sitting. I had the tamale & enchilada combo. We were both very pleased with our meals. They offer flour tortillas when they bring chips, salsa & queso. The salsa was nice & spicy and we mixed some into the queso. Our food arrived in a timely manner. The atmosphere was friendly & very casual. With our meals & drinks the total was about $20.00. Not bad for 2 adults with take home boxes. If you haven’t tried this place, please do. I’m not sure how the other locations are but this location was on point for us.
I don’t get all the bad reviews?. Before even reading these reviews…I have been living in The Village area and down the street from this place for almost 10 years now and have just recently discovered this place. I KNOW what authentic mexican is thanks to my grandma (none of this Ted’s or Chelino’s crap…which to me taste like crap)…we had fresh tortillas almost everyday, also used her molcajete everyday! The first time we went we all got something different…we got taco salad…enchilada’s…quesadilla’s and taco’s…everyone liked their food and the meat was VERY tasty in my taco salad…actually for us this food was alot better then the other places we had eaten at around the area. Since then we have been back sevral times and everytime has been great! If I had to say anything negative about this place it would be the seats…they are sorta old…but besides that the service is great and the price even greater! Very friendly people…
Me and 2 friends ate here. I’ve never had Mexican food that had less taste. My friends shared my opinion.
