Love the food!. The food is always excellent… service is usually hit or miss, but not terrible. Everything I’ve ever eaten there has always been so yummy and I always look forward to going back!

First time reviewer and long time customer. I eat here a lot and purchase cakes often but despite the food being descent the bad service outweighs any compliments the food may have warranted. I recently had a lunch date with my husband during the noon hour and stood at the hostess stand for 15 minutes being ignored by the staff and owner only to be approached by a waitress saying they were no longer serving lunch because they were understaffed. The lack of professionalism and service on multiple occasions has finally warranted this bad review. I will not be returning. They could have placed a sign on the door letting customers know they had a situation but instead they let customers line up and wait just to be turned away. Again, this is just the final straw of many bad experiences with long food waits and rude waiters. I hate that my first ever review is a negative one but much deserved.

I can’t comment on the bakery, as there was no one working during the 10 minutes that I browsed, waiting to be helped. Waiting seems to be a common theme between the bakery and cafe. Horrible cafe service. Rude, inattentive server made my lunch frustrating. This is a really cute place and the sandwiches my husband and I tried were decent but we will never return.

RIBBON CAKE RULES!. Best cake in OKC.Hands down.

Ribbon Cake. I purchased a ribbon cake with layers that were uneven and virtually no strawberries in the creme. The chocolate layer at the bottom was a 1:3 ratio with the white layer on top and made the cake unbalanced. The worker told us not to refrigerate the cake when we got home, because it would completely fall apart(which cool whip tastes better chilled, not warm and it didn’t fall apart when I put it in later), the leaves had brown spots and there weren’t any roses on the cake(pictures on the internet showed roses on others), there were actually very few flowers; three people ate this six person cake and not a single one of them ate a slice with any strawberries in it, there were probably enough small pieces to constitute one strawberry, barely. I emailed and called with the complaint, thinking this is a fluke and seeing pictures online with cakes that looked differently and have gotten no calls or emails back. When I was leaving the bakery it was snowing outside and I had to ask for a bag to carry it in, the box has to be taped and not completely shut due to the flowers on top and the worker refused to give me a bag, even though I said I would carry it by the box and the box was wide open and it was snowing greatly outside. The box is made out of thin cardboard that can get wet and damaged easily; he just taped plastic wrap to the part open to the outside but only did that because I asked. The box did get a little wet still since it was snowing so much and I had to carry it to the car without a bag covering the rest. The cake was not that great tasting, but compared to most of the bakeries here I wasn’t expecting much, but the customer service and the appearance of the cake was just too shoddy to overlook, especially for something that many people eat and wonder why it tastes badly and looks poorly. I don’t think anyone makes a layer cake with a half inch chocolate layer and three inch white layer unless there are other components alongside it.

I was surprised to read negative reviews about this bakery. I have never tried the restaurant but have ordered ribbon cakes for years! They are my favorite, second only to my mothers red velvet cake! They are always a hit at every occasion and everyone always wants to know where I got them! As for rude service, I have always been treated with respect and always told how to best transport my cake. If you haven’t tried it, you owe it to yourself to overlook the negativity and try the ribbon cake! Fantastic!

Completely rude staff, my family has ordered cakes from them for years and so now I’m engaged and wanted a wedding cake. A blonde man basically ignored me until another co-worker came in and he chatted away with her. The co-worker noticed I was waiting and asked if he helped me I said no then he got an attitude with me like I ruined his conversation. I kind of got smartass with him when he was talking to me like I have no clue about a cake I wanted or saw on their website then he said I’m obviously not the one you need to talk to! Obviously not! I guess I won’t spend my $1100 for a cake here thank you!
