My favorite!. I’ve tried almost every bakery from Norman to Edmond and I haven’t found anything better than Sweets & Spurs. I make a weekly trip there to get some sweet treats and look at the lovely boots. The flavors aren’t crazy but every recipe is spot on. I love their daily specials, but my favorites have to be the Southern Charm and the Chocolate Outlaw. Don’t ignore all the other goodies either. The macarons are fantastic, the puppy chow is the best I’ve had, and the caramel and chocolate dipped apples are my ultimate guilty pleasure. You can’t find nicer people than those who work at Sweets & Spurs and they definitely make me feel welcome. Everyone should stop by this lovely spot once. You’ll come back for more – I guarantee it.

Sugar Free Carrot Cupcake. Mmm, today we stopped in to Sweets & Spurs because my friend had just heard about this place the night before. The atmosphere was neat, loved the different styles of cowboy boots! At first I wasn’t going to try a cupcake because I just started a new diet program. Then, I asked if they had any sugarfree cupcakes and they did and in one of my favorite cakes – carrot cake. The employee said that it was made with applesauce and a little splenda – I was sold!! It was moise and absolutely delicious, I would definately go back for another.
Gluten-Free Cupcakes. Sweets and Spurs offers chocolate gluten-free cupcakes every Saturday. The cupcakes are extremely rich. Don’t expect to be able to eat half of it in one sitting. The staff are knowledgeable, and the atmosphere is great!
Mostly good ?!. The cupcakes are really good compared to the other cupcake places in Norman. The pound cake is never all the way baked, and the chocolate is pretty bitter. A lot of people like darker chocolate, but it would be nice to have more options. Service could be more a little more personable. Overall pretty good.
Mini Pies! Very decadent, so you can go overboard after a few bites! Haven’t tried the cupcakes yet.
