FRIDAY LUNCH BUNCH THUMBS UP. There is a group of 5 or 6 of us guys who get together for lunch and a few beers every Friday somewhere in the greater Tulsa area. I heard about Nannie’s from one of the bunch and we decided to give it a try today…SUPER FOOD, EXCELLENT SERVICE and a friendly atmosphere…I had the catfish special and it was crisp on the outside and tender and flaky on the inside, plus the cole slaw was fresh and tasty…others had the tamales con queso and they were very pleased.. one guy who is a Philly Cheesesteak nut said the one he got was one of the best he had tasted outside of Philadelphia….we were surprised when the very nice (and hard working) waitress brought us a big basket of freshly fried corn tortilla chips and homemade salsa to tide us over while we were enjoying our brews and waiting for the lunch…now I can’t wait to go back to try the breakfast, I’ll bet the biscuits and gravy are also great.

We had excellent food (both Mexican orders) including homemade chips and salsa, and despite not being desert people it was hard to pass up the last piece of Cherry Pie and it was also excellent. I’m skeptical of small town places like this but this one breaks the mold . , , excellent food, excellent service, and a nice clean restaurant along a highway. It doesn’t hurt they are from WI . . . They know how to make food!
Wonderful Home Cooking!. What yummy home cookin! We all ordered different meals and all of us raved at how wonderful each item was. We also tried different desserts, again very tasty! Can’t wait to go back and try breakfast. Ordered a pie for Thanksgiving. A Diamond in the rough!
Great food. We stumbled on Nanny’s for breakfast and it was fabulous! The chicken fried steak was very good. We will definitely stop again.
Great food, friendly service, awesome desserts!. We have eaten breakfast, lunch and dinner at Nannie’s and our favorite meal is still dessert. We have tried the tres leche cake, cherry pie, cheesecake covered with chocolate and strawberries and Roberto’s wild berry pie. All were wonderful In fact we have a pie pan to return because we liked it so much we had to buy a whole pie to take with us!
