Very cute place. Sat outside and had a great time talking with my grown kids. It’s not overcrowded and it’s super cute. They have some fun board games to play too!
Very disappointed!. No sandwiches were available, except bagel sandwiches. The entrance to the building was frozen with ice and very slick. No ice melt or salt was applied to the parking lot or sidewalks. My girlfriend and I could have been seriously injured. The boardgames were broken or missing pieces. No toilet paper in the bathrooms and my girlfriend notified the gentleman at the counter. Too much ginger was in her chai latte Way too much sugar in the cookies. We won’t be back!
Okay but better coffee in the area. I was so excited when I saw that they were opening what looked to be a nice coffee shop near my house. I have been a few times and was underwhelmed by both the atmosphere and the coffee. The coffee is good but not great and takes an extraordinary amount of time for it to be served. I have waited 15+ minutes for a plain latte with there was only one other drink order ahead of mine. So go if it is close by but only if you have time to spare.
Neat exterior, cold interior. I’ve driven by this spot for months before recently giving it a shot with a few of my friends on a Saturday afternoon. My first clue should have been that it was practically empty during what should have been a rush hour. The inside is nice and clean, going for straight lines and cement floors and hard chairs instead of some of the cozier places in town. That made it look cold as well as feel chilly, and not very comfortable to hang around in. The one guy working that day was not very nice. He didn’t greet us with a smile, say thank you, or even make us feel welcome. It was like we were keeping him from doing more important work than his job just by us being there. He was also amazingly slow with our coffee. We must have waited at least 10-15 minutes although there were no other waiting orders at the time. The coffee was good. I wish my peppermint frappe had more mint flavor, but it was still very tasty. But small. Pretty small. One look at the food and I didn’t even think about it. Obviously commercially prepared by a third party, and looking at some of the other reviews other people have noticed, too. Nothing special, and actually I bet they’re not even good. I’ve had prepackaged day-old danishes from Sam’s and I don’t care to have more. Don’t think I’ll come back. Starbucks is still faster and friendlier. Shame.
A lot like Starbucks. This little coffee shop reminds me a lot of Starbucks. Seating and layout is very similar, although they serve bakery items from Merrit’s Bakery. I generally like Starbucks, so I enjoyed my experience there. Pricing is about the same as well. The restaurant is full of hard, smooth surfaces so there is a lot of reverberation from conversations. If you are looking for a quiet place in the middle of the day, you might go somewhere else.
Blah. Not sure what some are raving about. I can buy Merritt’s baked goods at Merritt’s for less money! What is this place, a Merritt’s outlet store??? Please tell me they didn’t really try to sell SAMs stuff here! I heard they had some good baked goods, not sure what my friend was talking about. I was expecting something new & original. And I’ve certainly had better coffee. Some of these comments kinda look like 918 employees or owners trying to save face after some bad reviews. Hmmmm……
Meh. I do not appreciate being sold baked goods for a higher price than what I could buy them at the grocery store, which is what they are doing. It’s obvious.
