I was highly disappointed in this place. We read such good reviews and we’re looking forward to eating here. I’ll start by saying that our food was pretty good, so this review is not for the food. They charged $1.00 for a refill!!! That’s outrageous! While this isn’t a big deal, it was just kind of odd.. The water came in styrofoam cups. We asked if we could get grits instead of the toast or biscuits and gravy, and they charged $3.00 for that! Seriously?! Grits are much cheaper than bread or biscuits! And the kicker… There were two hairs in one of our omelettes.
Decided to try something new after sleeping a bit later than normal on a Saturday. Everyone was in the mood for a brunch. After a bit of searching we found Brunch at Sarah’s. After reading other reviews we decided to give it a go. I must say, it was really good! All three of us got the Grand Skillet. The Rosemary potatoes in the Grand Skillet were incredible. Service was awesome. Coffee was good too. We would recommend this place to our family and friends. We will be back for sure.
Horrible service, mediocre food, uncaring owners.. In addition to refusing to honor the groupon, they provided poor service, a surly attitude and mediocre food. Would rather throw away my groupon than EVER go back. The three friends dining with me that day share my sentiments. Very disappointing.
CORNED BEEF HASH!!!. I was blown away…. Service was good. I told the lady I was there for the first time and I absolutely loved the corned beef hash, and she handed me a $5 coupon for next time. Now that’s the old fashioned way to win customers: serve great food, with a pleasant smile and give a little something extra to make me come back. My new go to place.
Food and Service is Awesome!. I love going to this place! One of the BEST breakfast places I’ve ever been too! My over medium eggs were perfect. My turkey bacon (Yes, they have it!) was also great! Perfectly crispy hash browns. The Multi Grain Chocolate Chip Pancake (a FULL plate size!) was outta sight! 5 Star Food all the way!! P.S. I visited with my waitress (an older blondish lady) & she was super nice & I discovered had been through some hard stuff in life. Nice lady. The owner who cooks is a cool guy. Just love finding little spots like this. A rare find.
We used to go to Sarah’s but they have a huge problem with preparing food in the same place that they throw the dirty rags that they clean the tables with. I saw them on more than 1 occasion cut toast on the tray where the dirty rags were or had been! Gross!
Best breakfast I’ve hade in town.. I see a few negative comments about the service…..Baloney! I’ve eaten there probably 30+ times and got good service as did everyone else ( you can observe every table in this tiny place. The man at the grill ( manager?) love this place!
