Reluctant service. Four of us arrived a half hour before closing time, and the young woman in charge was mopping the floors. She came over to the counter and asked us what she could get us. When we started our order, she said they were closing in 15 minutes and she didn’t want to brew more coffee. So why didn’t she say that when we walked in? And anyway, the price of one coffee would probably pay for the new pot of brewed. Anyway, I’m glad we didn’t stay, because I wanted to try Cuban coffee, and I see from one of the other reviews that they don’t serve it. Also, we found a very congenial caf just down the street, with excellent coffee and delicious desserts.

It’s not Cuban…. Was really disappointed to learn that they do not actually make true cuban coffees….just espressos or cappuccinos of one variety or another, but not made with either of the traditional Cuban coffee ground brands. You won’t find faithful cuban coffees, like coladas or cortaditas, which are so unique and outstanding and really not that difficult, so it’s perplexing that they don’t offer them. The source, incidentally, was a phone call to the place itself. You can verify yourself. We’d love it if they got the real stuff and made actual cuban coffees like you can find in Florida.

Very nice. This place has lots of room (i.e. not a Starbucks); the coffee is very good and the baked goods are excellent too.

Best Cup of Coffee. My wife and I had come in from OKC for the weekend and happened upon this great find. The atmosphere was laid back and the drip coffee was absolutely the best. We’ve had thousands of cups here and there and have not found anything as pure and robust as the coffee at Cubana. It was smooth and strong enough that we were able to ignore the political wind bag that was sitting across from us. Excellent coffee and a must return next time we’re in T Town.

Yeahhhh.. Miss Seaberg works here. Or maybe she lives here. I can’t remember. I don’t like coffee, but I like Miss Seaberg, so I’ll probably come try it sometime. The atmosphere is kind of weird, I don’t like those damn hipsters. BOO YAH.
