Hey, remember me?. Didn’t have time to sit and dine, so placed a take-out order at the bar. Sat down and waited. And waited. And waited. Couple came in, seated at the bar, placed their order, got their food, finished their meal, got their check, I’m still waiting. Finally had to get waiter to track down my order. At least if I would have sat down for a meal, I would have got water and bread!

Hyatt style, Hyatt prices. The Grill is a very nicely appointed and well run hotel restaurant. I stopped in for lunch today and the place was buzzing. I had a small bowl of Gazpacho that was delicious–just the way I like it. I also had the mixed greens salad that was very fresh and balsamic dressing was great. Service with Liz was top notch. With coffee it was $16.77.

Bar is Great – Food is So So. I’ve visited many times. Their bar prepares everything in house, sweet and sour mix etc. Best drinks hands down! The food is hit or miss and if I’m paying that much for it…. it should be consistently good.

The bar staff are way more friendly and efficient than the dining room staff: and I don’t know what is wrong with the kitchen but they just can’t get entrees out in a timely fashion (or altogether for a table). We had a breakfast meeting here: the $15 Denver Omelet was tasty and the thick sliced olive-oil drizzled sliced tomatoes were a great side.Dinner meeting was equally haphazard in service, my tilapia took forever to get while everyone else were well into their meal.Weird.

Do not eat at Daily Grill for breakfast. The food service is slow (can’t seem to multi-task) and wait staff rarely comes around to table to check on you. We ate there this morning and a couple at a table next to ours didn’t get their breakfast order until after we were served. I ordered oatmeal and they forgot the milk with it. The service is incredibly slow that I didn’t even bother asking for it. We ate there the evening we checked in. Dinner was ok. The appetizer (we ordered the ahi tuna) was better than our entrees and that’s saying something. Don’t bother.

One of the better restaurants downtown. Good martini and a great ribeye. The atmosphere was upscale and quiet and the service was excellent.
