Hunan Beef and Sweet and Sour Pork. I love the spicyness of the beef, broccoli, Napa cabbage, great taste and flavor.
It’s Too Bad…. I started going to this location in the past year when my job changed, for a quick lunch. I would order egg rolls and cho-chos. My husband once ordered sweet and sour chicken and said it wasn’t very good. For me, one day the egg rolls would be great, and the next, they would be bad, or old, or have an odd taste. I started ordering two cho-chos because most of the time only one would turn out to be good. One would be good and the other, old, or tough as nails. I’m sure you could say I should have given it up, but the times it’s good made me want to keep trying because of my work situation and needing something quick. Today I went, I ordered, this time a man took my order. He talked to me in English, no problem. When I reached the window, he told me the price, I paid and when he handed me my food, I smiled real big and said Thank you! – he just looked at me, closed the window and walked away. Way to make me feel like an idiot, and the food isn’t good enough to be rude like that. He has no idea what hell is going on in my life, and probably doesn’t care, as he got my money. I couldn’t even eat it after that. So I would say find someplace else. A fantastic, never miss location is Egg Roll Kingdom at 31st and Garnett. The food is always superb, every single person, and there are many, is friendly and they always get the order right!
YEP!. This place might not draw service because of the the lack of restaurant upkeep…. but the food quality is consistent. Consistent and GOOD enough to keep me coming back!
As tacky and gross this place looks, the food was pretty good. Super cheap, super fast, super hot. We got cashew chicken and shrimp with lobster sauce. Both were typical like we’ve had at other similar style Chinese restaurants, with rice. Drive thru seemed busy although there was only one other couple eating in with us. It would be just a little nicer if we actually had silverware and plates, not plastic. Will return!
I ordered cashew chicken and broccoli and beef. The sauce tasted powdery and the cashew chicken was mostly water chestnuts this is the worst Chinese food I’ve ever had. This was the egg roll express on 71st and elm
We love this place!. Our favorite lunch comes from the 48th & Peoria location. their food is consistently well prepared, fresh and hot. the employees are always friendly and want you to be happy. you can’t ask more than that!
