Bad Money Handling Makes Their Delicious Food Very Expensive. After several very enjoyable visits to Gyros by Ali I had a very bad experience there on June 6, 2014. Be careful when you pay for your food at this establishment. On my last visit I purchased my food from a young trainee, who is part of the Ali family apparently, who appeared confused, distracted and unsure of how to do his job. After I handed a $20 to this cashier he took my money and placed it where I could not see it. He then became distracted and asked me if I wanted a drink with the combo meal that I had already ordered and that was weird because the combo meal comes with a drink. He also rang up my order wrong as I had ordered the tabouli as my side and he rang it up as an upgrade to hummus. He then told me that I had only given him a $5 and asked me for MORE money. I asked them to check their receipts for the day and let me know when they find my money the next day because I did give him a $20 dollar bill and at this point they owed me exactly $15 and it should show up as an overage for the day in the till. They never called me back after tabulating their days receipts as promised about this and when I called them about it they said could not locate and did not have the $15 dollars they shorted me. Not cool at all! So watch it when you pay and make sure they acknowledge the amount of money you hand to them up front so you don’t get shorted too. The food is REALLY GREAT but the handling of the money in my situation was terrible and it should never had happened. I paid $15 more for one combo platter than I should have because of this error on their part.

I’m a little bit of a gyro snob, so when I say that this was an excellent gyro, I mean it. Very fresh tasting and ready quickly. The hummus was also really good. Spiced with paprika, it carries a zip and I loved it. I’d highly recommend

Very Good!. I was so happy to see this restaurant open. I have been there 4 or 5 times and it is very tasty! I like the Big Bird Platter with tabouli (see photo) – tender, flavorful chicken and the rice is soooo good!The only thing I have noticed about this place that I would change would be the wording on the menu. The names of different items are so similar that almost every person who walks in asks for clarification. For example, there is a Prince Ali, then there is a Prince Ali Platter, then there is a Prince Ali Salad AND a Prince Ali a la carte. And whilst confusing at first, once it is explained you should have no problem ordering the next time. Give it a try!
Tasty Gyros & Great Prices!. They have some of the best gyro’s in town! If you want something delicious and quick then you should try the Prince Ali! It was awesome! Definitely going back!
So Good!. Love those gyros! Everyone was very nice, and the food tasted fresh. Very clean yet pretty hip looking spot.
