I would give zero stars if it were an option. We have eaten here for years, mainly because its so easy to accommodate larger parties, but today will be our last time. The service is never wonderful, but our most recent experience was particularly bad. Our waitress and clerk at the front counter were extremely rude. First, my mother asked for coffee and the waitress kept repeating that there would be an extra charge. Okay. Please get the coffee. We understand it isnt free. Secondly, my daughter went up about halfway through our meal to get a plate from the Mongolian Grill. She had to wait in line so long, that by the time she got back to the table, everyone else had finished eating, and most of our party had left. So she asked the waitress if she could have a to-go box, and she was given one WITHOUT comment. We assumed that meant there was no charge. As we stood up to leave, the waitress met us and said they would be charging us per pound for what was in the box. Mind you, she paid full price for the buffet, and this was food my daughter didnt have time to eat because the RESTAURANT took so long to prepare it. So as the waitress walked away, we looked at each other in shock and I said, No, I dont think so. Well just leave it on the table if thats what theyre going to do. I went ahead and walked out with the box of food because we had already paid anyway. (Granted, i probably shouldnt have. I probably should have argued with the front desk about it). When my daughter and son-in-law checked out, the clerk at the front pointed out to them that there were cameras, so essentially treating us like thieves now. It would be laughable if it wasnt so asinine and insulting. We will not be back to this rude establishment.
