First of all, I waited until an hour before closing to decide I wanted to order from them. Second of all, it was COLD AS ALL GET OUT and raining. Third of all, my order was less than $20. Fourth of all the delivery guy WAS THE NICEST DUDE EVER! Actually was jovial upon delivering my pizza in the cold. Said he likes it when it rains because business picks up. Fifth of all, PIZZA WAS DELICIOUS! First time experiencing this restaurant. I recommend it highly.
DO NOT buy wings from this place. I placed an order last night and requested that the wings be well done. They got to my home and were slimy and pink in the middle. They were not done at all. I actually had to put them in my oven at 400 for 20 minutes to get them to not be raw. I ate 3 of 16, but they just didnt taste right. I was up in the middle of the night throwing up and other things. This was all I ate that night. I called the location back today and the shift manager was nice, but I was told by her and the store manager that the wings come pre-cooked by another company and all Hungry Howies does is run them through their oven. If the wings were uncooked it was not their fault. I asked about standing behind their product and was told that even though they served it from their restaurant that it was not their product. I requested a refund, but was not offered so much as a coupon, which was fine because I wont be eating at or ordering from a Hungry Howies again. On a positive note, the delivery driver was super nice.
I used a Groupon here and got 2 two topping mediums pizzas one was a ham and pineapple pizza with Italian herb crust and then I ordered a sausage and pepperoni with Cajun flavored crust and I must say the flavored crust is what makes this place one of the best pizzas I’ve ever tasted in a long time I would definitely recommend this place to anyone.
