Amazing food and even more amazing guy!. Go for the good food and keep coming back for the people! I’m a big fan of the chicken salad. Now this isn’t your regular chicken salad that you find in other sandwich joints…this is the real deal! Jay makes it by hand and if you are really lucky, you find yourself getting the bottom of the pan chicken salad. That’s the best!
Awesome place!!!!. This place has some serious good food. Jay is a really nice guy and he makes your sandwich exactly like you want. Jay’s Hoagies puts Subway and Quiznos to shame. I had the classic Italian hoagie with creamy Italian and a little oil/vinegar on the bread(also with sweet peppers). if you have not tried jays yet, you must give it a try. Next time, im going to get the chicken salad hoagie (i’ve heard good things)
Awesome sandwich!!! I didn’t expect much but this place is great! I got the Italian sandwich. I like how they slice their meat fresh, unlike most places. That makes a huge difference in taste!
I have been there several times. I started going there soon after it opened. Jay is very friendly. The Italian is so good I can’t get past it to order anything else. What does that say? The salads look great and fresh, but I can’t stop ordering the Italian. When that Jersey Mikes opened up, I read good things about the chain so I tried it, plus I am from NJ. Nope, doesn’t hold a candle to Jay’s. He doesn’t run the cheap promotions like Subway does, but his stuff sure tastes better and it is a locally owned business. Having been a small business owner myself once, I believe is supporting local people. Go there, get the Italian!
Worth the drive to the Southside. Best damn sandwich! Not to mention Jay is one of the nicest guys! But seriously omg love those sandwiches!
