Great place to eat (casual). Food always delicious, hot, and nice variety to choose from on the menu board. Enjoyed meals here multiple times with business colleagues, friends, and family. Always excellent experience. 🙂

This BBQ joint is in the heart of downtown had good BBQ. Its consistant and has nice variety on the menu. Their burnt ends are fantastic and their ribs are excellent. Overall its probably the best choice for quality BBQ downtown

Only open during lunch and before shows at the Cain Ballroom. Had the Z-Man sandwich and thought it was pretty good. Brisket while hot was a little dry. Like that they finally got Hot BBQ sauce. I believe it;s called the Loco sauce and has ghost pepper in there so it is very spicy but good. I ended up mixing it with the regular hot and tame it some. Interior is a little sparse but not a bad place for a quick BBQ fix.

Delicious lunch. On first blush, I was a bit surprised by the prices at Oklahoma Joe’s. I wasn’t expecting a $10-$15 lunch. I decided to scrimp a little, and just order a sandwich, with no sides. I picked the Hog Heaven and was delighted. The combo of smoked sausage and pulled pork was enough meat for two sandwiches. The sauce on the pork was a solid blend of sweet and spicy. The bun was buttery and delicious. The pickles on the side provided a perfect acidity. And the sandwich alone was enough lunch for me. With tax, it set me back $7. I’m already planning another visit to try their burnt ends.

Best BBQ and service!! With the response being overwhelming that people would not eat here for past reviews of others who have not eaten here or choose to not eat here because of this man’s belief in God is astonishing! For we are not people of judgement but that of character and integrity not so much to people but of the one and only God!! God bless this business, joe and his family!! Boomer Sooner!! In God we trust!!

Great Burnt Ends and Ribs. I ate here for lunch on a Tuesday in October. My favorite meats of theirs are their burnt ends and their ribs. Everything else I find average or a little below average. However, the Burnt Ends and Ribs are very good. I never order sandwiches either. If I want a sandwich I’ll go to Subway. When I’m at a BBQ restaurant I want barbecued meat and lots of it.I’m not a coleslaw eater so I cannot and will not try and comment on how theirs tastes. Their beans are good. Not great, but good. I did have a friend say their beans tasted like Wendy’s chili with brown sugar added. I found that description rather amusing.Order ribs and/or burnt ends and you won’t be disappointed. In fact, skip the side dishes altogether and load up on ribs and burnt ends.Their hot BBQ sauce isn’t very hot. I’m not one of those guys that loves super hot food and so label everything as tasting mild so I can appear manly. It’s seriously not hot. Of all of the hot/spicy BBQ sauces I’ve had at the various BBQ restaurants in Tulsa, OK Joe’s has to be the most mild of them all.Staff are very friendly. This location also features a bar and a music stage. It is also next door to Cain’s Ballroom and is open an hour before any shows there.Their seating at lunchtime looks awkward. Almost like their real seating is on order and hasn’t been delivered yet, so they’re renting some.
